100% of your donation goes towards the costs associted with hosting our website and digital document archive. We'll also use the donations to pay for future yearbooks to scan (which are then donated to historical societies).

No! We do not pay our board members, everything is entirely volunteer based. Your donations will never be used towards anything except our historical projects.

We use advanced scanning equipment to non-destructively scan yearbooks and other invaluable historical documents. These scanners are often into the thousands of dollars.

Monthly costs are associated with the website hosting and storage of the digital archive. We have several terabytes of scanned documents that we make available for free to everyone.

We purchase yearbooks from the Chartiers Valley School District schools to support their continued publications. These are each over $100, and one per school is required each year.

Yes! We utilize Stripe for payment processing, an industry leading company in secure payment processing. It powers most services and applications you use today. Your information and payment details are never disclosed to us.

Yes! The CVTheatre Foundation (the sponsor of this project) is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization registered in the state of Pennsylvania. It is registered at the state and federal level as a non-profit charity.

Yes! All of our donation options listed above allow you to customize the amount you wish to contribute. We provide recommendations, but you're free to choose any amount no matter how small or large.
